Add a Magic Keyboard for iPad Air and it doubles as a laptop for essays. For engineering, architecture or medicine students who read large diagrams, the iPad Air 13-inch gives more space.

Best small iPad: iPad mini

The iPad mini (A17 Pro) from KES 75,000 fits in one hand and is ideal for reading, quick notes and carrying between lectures. It also works with the Apple Pencil Pro.

Best iPad for drawing and design students

Art, design and architecture students get the most from the iPad Pro 11-inch M5 from KES 157,000: the smoothest display for drawing in Procreate, the fastest chip, and Apple Pencil Pro support.
